At Snw Karate, we practice the martial art of Shito-ryu karate which is one of the four major styles of traditional karate practiced around the world today. In Chester, lessons are held at two locations:
The Kings School (Wednesday and Friday)
Upton Village Hall (Saturday)
Where we have lots of fun learning martial arts but at the same time hold to the principal values of karate which are discipline, self-respect and respect for others.

Our principle instructor is Steve Bolland who is a 6th Dan Black Belt in Shito-ryu karate, and is highly experienced in running professional martial art clubs. He is supported by a team of instructors who are able to train from absolute beginners, through all the grades to Black belt. For your peace of mind, all instructors are enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checked which is the successor to the CRB check.
The club is run at a highly professional level and is affiliated to the English Karate Federation which governs English Karate.
