At SNW karate, we practice the martial art of Shito-ryu karate which is one of the four major styles of traditional karate practiced around the world today. In Chester, lessons are held at both the Kings School, and the Cheshire County Sports Club in Upton where we have lots of fun learning karate but at the same time hold to the principal values of karate which are discipline, self-respect and respect for others.
At the Kings School classes are every Wednesday evening with a session running from 6.00pm until 7.00pm for 4 to 10 year old’s and another from 7.00pm until 8.00pm for 11 year old’s to adults. On Saturday morning at The Cheshire County Sports Club we have a session for 4 to 10 year old’s running from 10am until 11am and 11 year old’s to adults from 11am until 12pm
Our principle instructor is Steve Bolland who is a 6th Dan Black Belt in Shito-ryu karate, and is highly experienced in running professional martial art clubs. He is supported by a team of instructors who are able to train from absolute beginners, through all the grades to Black belt. For your peace of mind, all instructors are enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checked which is the successor to the CRB check.
The club is run at a highly professional level and is affiliated to the English Karate Federation which governs English Karate.
We would welcome you to the club for a free trial lesson. There is no obligation to join – simply give a call on 07855 487026, or fill out the contact form and we can set a date for you to visit!
