SNW Karate offers karate lessons in Chester at two convenient locations.
Whether you are looking for karate classes for your child or want to train as an adult, we have sessions to suit you.
Our Chester sessions are held at The King's School Chester, Wrexham Road, Chester:
- Wednesday 6:00pm–7:00pm — Children (5–10 years)
- Wednesday 7:00pm–8:00pm — Juniors & Adults (11 years+)
We also run Saturday morning sessions at Upton Village Hall, Heath Road, Upton, Chester:
- Saturday 9:15am–9:45am — Little Warriors (3.5–5 years)
- Saturday 10:00am–11:00am — Children (5–10 years)
- Saturday 11:00am–12:00pm — Juniors & Adults (11 years+)

What age can my child start karate in Chester? We welcome children from as young as 3.5 years old through our Little Warriors programme. This is a specially designed class for pre-school children at Upton Village Hall on Saturday mornings, running from 9:15am to 9:45am.
Do I need any experience to join? No experience is needed at all. Every new student starts as a white belt and progresses through the grades at their own pace. Our instructors will make sure you feel comfortable from day one.
What should I wear to my first lesson? Just come in comfortable sports clothing for your first session. Once you decide to join, we will help you get your first karate gi (uniform).
