We offer Karate lessons in Chester at two venues. The first is the Kings School on every Wednesday evening with a session running from 6.00pm until 7.00pm for 4 to 10 year old’s and another from 7.00pm until 8.00pm for 11 year old’s to adults. On Saturday morning we are based at The Cheshire County Sports Club a session for 4 to 10 year old’s running from 10am until 11am and 11 year old’s to adults from 11am until 12pm.
Our karate classes are enjoyable and great fun for both children and adults. This is combined with the personal discipline and respectfulness that is the cornerstone of Karate.
The speed of progress of students at the club is ultimately down to them, but we encourage and support as much as needed in this regard.
The team of instructors is led by Steve Bolland who has a many years of experience running a Karate club and is highly qualified in the style of Karate that we practice which is Shito-ryu. This is one of the four major styles of Karate practiced around the world. All of our instructors are Enhanced DBS checked and can train from beginner level to Blackbelt.
As a club, we are affiliated to the English Karate Federation, which is the national organisation that governs English Karate. We are also affiliated to the Shito- Kai and World Shito-ryu Karate- do Federation.
