Martial Arts Club Cheshire, Wirral and Chester
Shushinkai North West is a Martial arts club with a brand new dojo which is situated between Junctions 7 and 8 of the M53 near Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. We practice Shito-ryu style Karate, which is one of the main four types of Karate practised in the UK (the others being Goju-ryu, Wado-ryu and Shotokan Karate styles).
Our lively and friendly club is run by Sensei Steve Bolland who has achieved 5th Dan Black belt.
Sensei Steve Bollands' philosophy in running the Karate club is to build greater personal self-confidence and fitness in his students. As you would expect from a good Martial arts club based in a new bespoke dojo, the facilities and equipment are second to none.
The students at our Karate club are split into three age categories. There are the kid kickers aged 4-6, then Cadets that are aged 6 to 12 and finally the adults who are aged 13 and above. For reasons mainly of physical development, the approach to the training of these three age groups differs. With the young kid kickers, for example, we concentrate on building their basic motor skills and teaching them social skills such as respect and etiquette.
So please come and join us at our new venue where we have fun practising our Karate. You will be very welcome and you can take advantage of some free introductory sessions before committing yourself to joining.
